Private Interconnects are available to members who wish to directly exchange traffic with another member over a dedicated VLAN on the Edge-IX infrastructure

Private Interconnects can be used to run IPv4 or IPv6, and unicast or multicast transmissions. Because they are direct between two members, members have more flexibility in how and what traffic runs over the interconnect.

Private interconnects operate separately from the public peering LAN and are bilateral connections between members.

Intersite

An Intersite service is installed for a member wishing to connect to one or more members present in Edge-IX site remote to the one they are present in. Edge-IX through NWIX sources the required connectivity service however due to the changing nature of the market this is a highly bespoke service therefore requirements should be discussed with your account manager.
